My friend is living in a basement apartment
he has paid six month in rent but the landlord want him to continue paying him every month until he has paid the full year rent.
Because he has refuse to pay him until February he is threating to evict him because he said he made that agreement with his mother who in not in the country.
He has entered his room for no apparent reason and said that he is going to keep entering in the apartment every day as long as he has given him verbal notice.
My friend had lost one of the keys to the apartment and asked for a replacement key the landlord cut a new key was charging him $15 for the key, but he found the key and no longer needs the one from the landlord, but the landlord insists that he has to pay for the key, is he obligated to pay for the key?
and what can he do about the landlord entering his room when he is not there for no apparent reason? |
