Transfer of school from Quebec to Ottawa

Hi,
I am staying in Gatineau with a temp work permit from Quebec.
My daughter is attending KG in Gatineau school with french-immersion program.
now, I am asked to move to ontario by immigration officer, in order to proceed further with my PR express entry application.
if I move to Ottawa now, should I also change school for my kid immediately. or shall I let her continue this academic year in the same school and bring her to Ottawa school board only for next grade (ofcourse i need to take care of her transportation).
Pls provide needed info.
My preference would be to leave her in same school for this academic year.
