Topic: Boarding on a flight back with a landing paper

hello,

i am still waiting for my renewed PR card to arrive, but i need to return to Canada as soon as possible.
I only have a passport (visa-exempt country, i'm not qualified to apply for ETA since i am PR), and a record of landing paper.

Will airline let me board on a flight back to canada with a record of landing paper? isn't it a sufficient proof of permanent residency when your card is being renewed?

please answer me! thanks!
