I would like some legal advice in regards to separation settlement, it has been over 4 years I have been battling to get my share, my ex kept everything, we now are in the middle of trying to settle, my question is, i was in his benefits the whole time together and he will be paying me spousal support, it is mandatory that he puts me back on his medical benefits? The spousal is 5 years full term with no conditions, I am on many medication due to the abuse/mental because of him. My lawyer doesn't do anything or suggests anything until I bring things up then she says different from what she said before. She is a very confusing lawyer. I really would like to know if he has to provide me with a benefit package.
