Topic:
Will landlord evict me if I no longer have a job?

Hello,
I hope I came to the right place to ask. If not, could you please direct me?

I've rented an apartment which I really like, almost a year ago. I have a full-time job which I've had for several years, but I'm thinking of quitting in order to study full time (if it matters - at an international online school which is not a recognized educational institution in Canada, so I don't think I'd be officially considered a student).

I might find a part-time job while I study, but then again I might not. Is this likely to cause trouble with my landlord?
I'm a clean quiet tenant, never had any problems with the landlord before, but I'm very new to the whole renting an apartment thing. I know they're allowed to evict me if I lied about my income, but I haven't - I did have a steady income when we first signed the lease. I'm reasonably confident that I would pay the rent regularly and on time even after quitting, and I plan to be once more working full time, one way or another, within two years after quitting, so it shouldn't really affect the landlord. But I'm worried if there'd be any problems renewing the lease or something like that? Am I even obligated to inform my landlord that I no longer have a job?
