Long story short, I have been working at my Small business for 4 years now.


My boss thinks he can push the boundaries because we are small business, which maybe he can. Recently I was scheduled to work on a certain day, I asked if I could come in on another day and the day I was originally working would get covered(which it did).

The boss said yes, however it would be considered a sick day.

My worries about the situation from what has been going on is, he has been doing his "best" to rack up my maximum amount of sick days to get me terminated.


However I found this law and was wondering if it applies here: "Employees have the right to request changes to their schedule or location after 3 months of employment without fear of retribution."
