Topic: Incorrect Info on original application - now what?

Hi,

My fiance's family paid a local lawyer to fill out his original study permit application.
We are about to apply for spousal sponsorship and so he pulled out the original docs to make sure it all matched.
Turns out the guys put complete lies under his family info. It has one who isnt a relative, his two sisters birthdays are decades wrong, and its missing lots of people.

What do we do? Keep it consistent even though its incorrect? Correct it? And, if we do offer an explanation or just hope its unnoticed?

Applying from within Canada. He's from an East African Country. Have about 2 months, getting married next month. Just had a baby and so we really dont want to risk anything going wrong :(.
