Landlord issues in Peel region

Me and my husband are new PR immigrants.
As we approach landlords for house they ask for job letter first.
We got the PR based on our education,experience and bank balance even after that we have to face that.
Either the government should make some temporary arrangement for PR arrivals as most people do not have job till they arrive here or landlords should be notified to refrain from such discrimination.
Job seeking is not a one day's job.
It leaves people like us in a state of anxiety and stress.
We have been working for long in another country and are professional people .
What is the solution? |
