Hi,
I have applied to rent a one bedroom unit and provided the below mentioned documents
SIN
Application form
Landlord reference
6 months bank statement
Recent pay stubs and employment contract form.
I have good credit score and the landlord rejected my application. Upon asking again, he has asked for employment letter from one of the jobs which i joined recently. Again he is now asking for the employment letter from my other job (I have provided recent pay stubs for this job).
My question is: Is it even legal for the landlord to ask for these documents? I have more than enough balance in my account to pay the rent for a year even without a job.
Can the landlord reject my application with no valid reason?

Hi all,
I am a PR and have sponsored my husband and four year old kid.
Their application has been approved and would be landing next month.
My query is, since my son is a minor, do I have to send any authorization letter mentioning that my husband is allowed to bring him to Canada with him?
or
Is he good with the CoPR since I am the one who has sponsored my four year old.
Please advise |
