PR card Expired without Residency Obligation

We (two doctor couple along with our two kids) were PR since 2013 and our PR card expired last year without fulfilling residency obligation.
Our son (elder) now became 18+ and he received an admission offer from Mcgill University with an entrance scholarship to study engineering.
For him, it was not possible to stay in Canada alone without us to fulfill the residency obligation.
Now with this ground only if he applies himself for TD, will he get TD?
Or any other advice, please. |
