I have applied for renewal for Permanent Residency. My card expired last July 30, 2019. My application was acknowledged to have been received on Oct 25, 2018. When I follow up with IRCC, I get the reply that my application has been sent to local IRCC for further assessment.
It's more than a year now but I have NOT yet received any further requirements to meet any further assessment.
Is it possible to withdraw my application and resubmit anew?
What could be reasons for the delayed processing of my application?
