Citizenship Test/Application -Translation Question

Hello friends, I've just sent my citizenship application and I want to translate my passport to prepare for the citizenship test and I have a bit of an issue here. (1) As I applied in Sep 2019, my 5 years eligibility period would be (Sep 2014 till Sep 2019). My current passport is issued in May 2015, I landed in Jan 2016 and applied in Sep 2019. Do I have to translate my previous passport which part of it will be in the 5 years eligibility period OR is it enough to translate the current one only which covers the period from landing till applying?. (2) My passport that is full of stamps (not English nor French) that would cost me a fortune to translate. these stamps are from different languages like, Turkey, Arabic countries, Iran, Armenia and others, so: - (2a) Do I have to translate the whole passport from the same translation office? or I can use different ones, each for specific pages?
- (2b) Are there translation offices that accept translating part of the passport only?
- (2c) Does the translation office have to be ATIO? in other words is there any criteria that Immigration Canada require in the translation office?
- (2d) Any suggestions about a translation office that is not pricey?. -what is the average cost\stamp?.
- (2f) Can I use a translation office outside Ottawa? like in Vancouver if they provide good price?
- (2g) In Some pages, the stamps are faded or stamps overlap each other which make some stamps almost impossible to read, but I have a record of my travels, should I provide this to the translation office?.
So sorry for asking too many questions, and I really appreciate you view. Regards, ~A |
