Topic: How to Become a Public Health Inspector - Question

Hi

My name is Xinghui, a fourth-year international student at University of Toronto, major in population health and molecular biology.

I am interested in becoming a Public health inspector and it is my dream since I was a kid. I plan to go to Concordia University to get my Canadian Public Health Inspector certification.

The only problem that confused me is that I am not a Canadian citizen now ( just have a valid study permit ), I am wondering does the public health inspector job position require a Canadian citizen or permanent residence since most job positions are offered by the Canadian government (which I searched on the internet)?

This is important for me before I decide to apply for this program and could affect my future career a lot.
