Rent Issue - Spouse Info

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are well. My husband and I are looking for apartments to rent. My husband would be the Applicant in this case and my information would also be there in the Spouse part of the Form. The realtor is asking for my SIN and employment details as well.
I have been the PR for 3 years now and he was just granted PR status. Without going into too much details I just want to say that we have some issues related to finances.
I was wondering what happens if the Applicant fails to pay the rent due to unfortunate circumstances? How would this affect the credit of the Spouse whose SIN info and other employments details have been provided on the form.
I would greatly appreciate a reply. Thank you! |
