Hi,
I recently renewed my PR card online, the processing was quick and it was sent in the mail just fine. I went on a trip home to the states and returned using my Nexus card and new PR card. The person at the desk asked where I'm from and I said originally I'm from the States, but I live here now and showed them my PR card. I had to go through further questioning at the border and they said that they only had my old PR card on file and that I had to go somewhere to get that validated and something about the Nexus card and that maybe I shouldn't use it next time. I don't know why I need to go somewhere since I filled everything out online and there wasn't anything in the paperwork that came with the new card saying that there were extra steps that needed to be taken. Is it possible that there's something going that won't accept my PR card when I use my Nexus card?
