I am permanent resident staying outside Canada and now I am pregnant and want to return to Canada with my family. I have below questions if anyone can help:
- I will be 35/36 weeks pregnant while returning to Canada. Will I face any problem at immigration/borders?
- I will not be having Canada health coverage as it takes minimum 3 months. Do I have other options?
- I have spoken to many clinics/hospitals and they mention they will not take me so close to delivery date. Do you know any private clinics/hospitals/doctors or even public clinic/hospitals who take Permanent Residents without health card and easy to get appointments?
- Will the newborn get the health coverage immediately in case of any complications.
It will be very helpful if someone can share their own experience or some helpful contacts. Thanks
