Can Daughter regain her Permanent Residency?

Dear Sir or Madam:
My daughter and wife left Canada for our home country in July 2013. My daughter was only 11 years old at that time. Their PR expired on 30 March 2014 and never went back to Canada.
As my daughter was a minor child at that time when we made the decision for her to leave Canada and this was not under her control.
Does she have any possibility at reviving her PR ?
How can we apply for Travel Document for her which will allow her to go to Canada to complete her education, as she performed among the top of her class while there. Her test scores consistently put her at the top of her class. Now she has become discouraged with the school system here that is unable to challenge her.
My wife and I are very proud to have such a remarkable child and to see her development being stifled like this is disheartening.
I will highly appreciate it if you could please help us to obtain the travel document for all of us to go back to Canada. Without being able to return to Canada my family will continue to suffer, both financially and emotionally.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your daughter and wife's situation and questions with us.
We can appreciate that you would be concerned about this situation.
As you already know, in order to return to Canada, if they do not have a valid PR Card, it is likely they will have to apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) at the nearest Canadian Visa Office.
Starting this process will also start the process to determine whether or not they have lost their PR status.

We strongly suggest that it may be helpful for you to contact a lawyer who is familiar with Canadian immigration issues for some additional information and assistance with their situation.
