I think i have a question that it is in the mind of a lots of people, How does this new amendment will affect my citizenship application, i am going to apply for citizenship by the end of 2014 !

Hi
I have submitted my citizenship application and it was received 45 days ago per Canada post, and i have received the acknowledgment letter yet, is that normal, all my friends received their`s in about a month.
