Hello,
Thank you for your question and situation with us.
Your father can access his 'customs declaration' records from Canada Border Services Agency.
He can request for his Advance Passenger Information/Passenger Name Record (API/PNR) by submitting the CBSA’s Traveller’s API/PNR Information Request form to:
Canada Border Services Agency
Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator
Leima Building

Thanks for this response from 2011 - its been very helpful to me as I found myself in this situation today. Question: whats the process for accessing one's 'custom declaration ' from the CBSA? or is it the same as the API/PNR?

As far as we know, the process is still the same.
You must submit the CBSA’s Traveller’s API/PNR Information Request form to:
