My son was 1 year old when landed in Canada in 2004 & now he is 17 years old.His PR card expired in 2009.We applied for PR renewal on H & C ground in 2019 end but process will take long
Acknowledgement of application received for H& C application.He is outside Canada.He got admission in University & trying to get status update to consider under domestic fees.He has Co PR document,Expired PR card with acknowledgement of application to IRCC,SIN card.All given to University but do not accept him as local student keeping in view PR status is valid but PR card under renewal.If he applied for study permit outside Canada,he has to surrender expired PR which we do not want to.We intend to enter via US border with PR card we have.
Can University accept based on law based on above documents as domestic student as PR under renewal for which acknowledgement copy available?
If not,if we enter via US border without study permit, but ready to pay Interntional fees for interim period till application is decided,can law allows to join University Canadian expired card physically in Canada with international fees without study permit docs?
