Hello,
I have the following inquiries regarding the PR card renewal for people who became PR in 2015.
- How do I calculate number of days of physical presence for PR card renewal. If I take short trips outside the country, do the dates of departure and arrival both count as days of absence from Canada? or is it only the departure day that counts as a day of absence?
- Suppose I travel to the US and return the next day (for example: travel to US 18-Jan, travel back to Canada 19-Jan), how many days in that case count as absent from Canada?
- How long before the expiry of the PR card is it recommended to submit my PR card renewal application?

Hi,
I have some inquiries regarding the PR Card Renewal Application form (IMM5444)
First: Regarding the travel history question (question 21) where I need to indicate all absences from Canada:
- I landed in Canada in June 2015. I had to return to my country of citizenship (Jordan) a few months after I landed in Canada for family and work reasons. I spent the first two years after I became a Canadian PR in Jordan. During these two years, I had to go on short work trips to other countries from Jordan. Do I have to indicate each of the trips on question 21, or since I was departing from and returning to Jordan, I should only aggregate the full stay away from Canada during this time and indicate that my location during this period of absence was Jordan?
- Can I indicate the reason for my absence as "family reasons" or I have to elaborate and give more details?
Second: Regarding question 19 where I need to indicate my address history inside and outside Canada
- During the first two years when I was in Jordan, I visited Canada once and stayed in my cousin's house for two weeks. Do I have to indicate this two week's period as one of the addresses listed in this question? Note: this is not my permanent address that was listed on the driver's license at that time.
- Should the from and to dates in this question be associated with the date of the address change in service ontario or the date I actually occupied the house?

I am filling the PR card application form (IMM5444) and I have the following questions. Hoping someone can share their experience:
I am unable to fit all my travel history in the space provided in the form. I do not understand the instructions "print out additional page containing the appropriate section, complete it and submit it with your application". Should I recreate the table rows and columns on a word document and include all the information there and indicate "see attached document" in the space provided in the form? or should I reprint the exact page and cross out all the other questions? Where should I add the additional sheets? After the last page of the form or after the page where the question is?Should I indicate the "From" date based on when I left Canada or when I entered the other country. For example, I left Canada on 2-Jan and I entered the other country I am visiting on 3-Jan because of the long flight time. Which date should I include?How should I count the number of days? Do I include the from and to days in the count?Under the travel history question, how should I indicate the period to be assessed? I know that "from" will be the day I became a PR, but what about "to", what date should I put? Should it be the day I am sending the application or should I just say 'present'?

Hello,
I submitted my PR card application and UPS confirmed its delivered to the case processing center on 1 June 2020. I have been checking the online application processing status on IRCC's website but until today my application is not showing up. Is this normal given that it is almost a month and a half since delivery date?

Hi,
I tried linking my application to my online account, however, only the application that was submitted five years ago when I first became a PR shows up. I tried a couple of time with multiple application details identifiers however I get the same thing. Is this normal? All I want is to confirm that CIC received my application.
