Good morning, there is one answer we were not able to get from the forums or website:
I have sponsored my husband in Canada and now we have FINALLY received the email on March 4, 2016 that confirmed a decision made and to make a payment of $490 for the Right of Residence, which we have.
However it has been one month and we didn#39;t get the invitation for the date of the interview in Etobicoke yet.
Do you know how much longer it normally takes?
We have booked flights for March 6 as everyone told us it would be a matter of weeks...

Good morning,
I'm going to Canada, Toronto soon and looking for the information about which food can I bring in Canada.
I've found some information about it(the link: http://www.inspection.gc.ca/food/information-for-consumers/travellers/what-can-i-bring-into-canada-/eng/1389648337546/1389648516990#a2 ), but there's no food that I'd like to take with.
Am I allowed to bring a few packages of oatmeal and buckwheat porridge in Canada as well as Nutrilite vitamins?
Which type of nuts are required to have the documents? Or all types are?
Am I allowed also to take first-aid medicaments? (against cold, etc.)

I have a question.
My wife from China and I got married in Ontario in July 2015.
I have sponsored and submitted her application to Immigration for permanent residence in Canada.
If she becomes pregnant during her visitation to Canada what do we do in regards to any medical or hospital expenses in 9 months?
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in the proper steps to take.
