No Updates Regarding PR Card Application

Dear Sir/madam,
I have entered Canada with my Permanent Resident Travel Document.
Upon arrival on Nov 10, I mailed out my PR Card application on Nov 20, 2017.
However, Up to now, I did not hear back from the centre if my package is well received and process.
I would appreciate it if you could point out in the correct to have any update regarding my application.

PR Status and Not Renewing PR card while in Canada

I read this on an Immigration Lawyer or Consultant website:
"Just because someone living in Canada has a Permanent Resident Card does not mean that he or she gets to stay indefinitely without renewing the card. "
What does that mean? If my PR card expires, I can no longer live indefinitely in Canada. Will I lose status? Is this true?
I have no response for clarification. |

I have 2 children both ages 1 and I need to have an emergency accommodation from Feb1st,2018 until Mar14th,2018.
Presently, I'm living at North York as a tenant in a rental apartment and my tenancy will be terminated on Feb1st,2018.

Hello,
I am a Canadian citizen and my husband is a Canadian PR card holder.
We had to move back to his home country of Germany and I am wondering if any authorities need to be notified that we have moved together.
He would like to maintain his PR card as we plan to move back to Canada eventually. |

I had my PR on Sept 2013 but due to some circumstances I went back to my home land and returned back to Canada on December 2016.
Now, I want to renew my PR but I do not meet residency requirement.

My question is regarding the age of a Spouse and or a partner.
What is the minimum and maximum age one can sponsor a spouse?
If they have a valid Marriage Contract signed by parties.
Is there a age limit to sponsor a spouse in to Canada?

Hi there,
I understand that one of the requirement to apply for Canadian Citizenship is to show that I have lived in Canada as a PR for at least 3 years out of the 5 years before I apply.
I would like to find out if the years I spent here in Canada completing my undergraduate degree (prior to landing) could also count toward the time requirement.

I am separated and we have kids together my kids were all born here and our citizens and they're all under the age of 7
my question is can I sponsor my sister and her family use in the other relatives even if I have kids that are citizens?
I'm just a little bit confused from what I saw on the cic websites that says you can sponsor other relatives as long as you don't have any blood relative under the age of 18 that you could sponsor or any kids that are citizens
